Getting Started with Google Sheets

Before each live online session, Tech Training will provide a Zoom link for live online classes, along with any required class materials.



 
Learn the basics of Google's spreadsheet application and see how it implements equivalent Excel features and offers more by being hosted in the cloud.
 
By the end of the course, you will have the opportunity to learn how to create Google Sheets and work with formulas, functions, filtering data, and creating a pivot table.

Learning Objectives
By the end of this course, learners will have had the opportunity to: 
  1. Create and format Google Sheets, including modifying columns, rows, and cells, and working with multiple sheets to organize data efficiently.
  2. Utilize formulas and functions effectively, understanding types of cell references and number formats to perform calculations and data analysis.
  3. Organize and analyze data by sorting, filtering, and creating pivot tables to extract meaningful insights.
  4. Import Microsoft Excel sheets into Google Sheets, enabling seamless data manipulation and platform integration.
