Explore how Google Stitch transforms plain-language descriptions into visual UI mockups and prototypes. Practice generating and refining interface designs for tools, forms, and dashboards without design experience.

Program Description

You don't need design experience to bring a visual idea to life. Google Stitch is an AI-powered tool that lets you describe what you want and quickly generate polished UI mockups, wireframes, and screen layouts without touching design software. In this session, participants will explore how Stitch can accelerate early-stage thinking, support cross-team communication, and make the design process more accessible to anyone with an idea to share. Whether you work in project management, communications, training, or operations, this session offers a hands-on introduction to AI-assisted visual design.

Learning Objectives

Learners will have the opportunity to:
1. Explore the Google Stitch interface and understand how it fits into the AI design tool landscape
2. Practice generating UI mockups and screen layouts using natural language prompts
3. Experiment with refining and iterating on generated designs using follow-up instructions
4. Work with export options and consider how to share or use Stitch outputs in real projects
5. Reflect on practical use cases for visual mockups in non-design roles

Topic Outline

Topics:
- What Google Stitch is and how it differs from traditional design tools
- Prompting strategies for describing layouts, components, and visual style
- Iterating on designs through conversation-based refinement
- Reviewing and editing generated mockups
- Exporting and integrating Stitch outputs into documents, slides, or proposals
- Use cases for visual communication across non-design roles
- Limitations and considerations when using AI-generated design content
