Designed for educators, trainers, entrepreneurs, and content creators, this two-session course explores how AI can simplify every step of the video creation process, from scripting and editing to publishing and promoting.

Program Description

You'll use ChatGPT to generate clear scripts and outlines, Descript to record, edit, and polish videos, and YouTube Creator Studio's AI features to optimize descriptions, titles, and tags for discoverability.

The course also covers best practices for thumbnail design, helping your videos stand out in search results. By the end, you'll walk away with a ready-to-publish instructional or informational video plus strategies for reaching the right audience.

1. Identify how AI tools (ChatGPT, Descript, YouTube Creator Studio) support instructional and informational video production.
2. Explain principles of effective video structure, audience targeting, and search optimization.

- Recording narration or screen capture in Descript
- Editing basics: trimming, captions, and adding visuals
- Exporting a rough cut video for feedback

Session 2 (3 hours): Optimization & Publishing Strategies
- Introduction to YouTube Creator Studio's AI features
- Writing optimized titles, descriptions, and tags with AI support
- Thumbnail design best practices: clarity, contrast, and branding
- Using AI to repurpose and adapt videos for multiple platforms
- Final project showcase: student-created videos with optimized publishing plans
