Stanford's ServiceNow platform will be upgraded to the latest version, Xanadu, to optimize technical functionality and meet compliance standards. By running the latest version, we’ll continue to ensure that we provide the Stanford community with the best support possible.
This is a technical upgrade and will not impact the look or feel of the platform. However, if you have questions about the change or experience any issues, please submit a Help request.
Timeline
- Project start date: Sept. 20, 2024
- QA testing: Jan. 6 - Feb. 28, 2025
- UAT Testing: Mar. 3 - 21, 2025
- Deployment: Late March
ServiceNow mobile application
In addition to the launch of Xanadu, ServiceNow offers a mobile agent application known as ServiceNow Agent, for fulfillers (primarily Computer Resource Consulting and Service Desk staff.) The application will be launched alongside the Xanadu update.
Please note: The mobile app has limited functionality; therefore, University IT advises the community to continue using the main Stanford ServiceNow platform.
