Call for UAT participants

December Release (Phase 1b)

In early December, the ServiceNow team will release additional applications to service the University IT community, including Incident Management, Request Management and the UIT Services Portal. Knowledge Articles searchable by campus users through the Portal are also in-scope for the December release.

Prior to this release, we will be conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) between Oct. 31 and Nov. 18.

As these applications will be used widely across University IT, the team’s highest priority is ensuring that staff can hit the ground running on day one.  In support of that goal, we’re asking all department managers whose workgroups handle Incident tickets in Remedy nominate 1-2 testers to participate in User Acceptance Testing sessions.  The time commitment will be between 8 and 12 hours over the course of the three week period, broken into multiple sessions.

Please submit the names of your nominees to ktrauner@stanford.edu by Thursday, Sept. 29.  If you have any questions, do feel free to contact me!
