Planned Outage for Oracle Financials Upgrade
Stanford’s Oracle Financials applications will be upgraded from version 12.2.6 to 12.2.14 over the Memorial Day holiday weekend. During this time, Oracle Financials (ofweb.stanford.edu) will be unavailable beginning at 4 p.m. (PT) on Friday, May 23, 2025, and remain offline until 1 p.m. (PT) on Monday, May 26, 2025.
Please note that orders for University IT services can still be placed during the downtime.
What to expect
This upgrade is needed to improve system stability and performance while meeting Oracle's minimum version for ongoing system support, and is not intended to introduce any new features. After the upgrade, you may notice minor changes to the user interface (UI) in the standard Oracle E-Business Suite and custom Apex applications within Oracle Financials. However, all existing features will continue to work as they did before the upgrade.
For the latest updates regarding this change, stay tuned to the Fingate Newsroom.
