New Smartsheet License Rate Announced

Beginning Oct. 26, 2026, the annual license rate for Smartsheet will be $425 per license for a one-year subscription.

Renew or cancel your license

Current Smartsheet licenses will automatically renew for the period of Oct. 26, 2026, through Oct. 25, 2027. The $425 annual license fee will be charged to the PTA used to purchase or renew your license last year. Charges will be processed in November and appear on your December statement.

If you need to update your billing information or no longer need a Smartsheet license, complete one of the following actions by Oct. 15, 2026:

• Renew with a different PTA: Submit a request to update the PTA that will be charged for your renewal.
• Cancel your Smartsheet license: Submit a cancellation request by Oct. 15 to avoid being billed for the new license term. If you want to keep your Smartsheet content, export your data before Oct. 15.

Smartsheet is a collaboration tool used across Stanford for project management and workflows. A Smartsheet license is required to create new content, including sheets, reports, dashboards, and forms. Individuals with view, edit, or comment permissions do not need a license.
