Starting Friday, March 17, 2023, you’ll no longer see the checkbox that enables you to “stay signed in” when using Microsoft web apps, including Outlook on the Web.
- Once you authenticate, you’ll remain signed into your account as long as you actively use the application.
- The update doesn’t affect Microsoft 365 desktop and mobile apps.
The new change offers us another layer of security — especially for those who work on shared devices. It also aligns the user experience for sign-on across the university’s SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) services.
