New Change for Microsoft Web Apps

Starting Friday, March 17, 2023, you’ll no longer see the checkbox that enables you to “stay signed in” when using Microsoft web apps, including Outlook on the Web.

• Once you authenticate, you’ll remain signed into your account as long as you actively use the application.
• The update doesn’t affect Microsoft 365 desktop and mobile apps.

The new change offers us another layer of security — especially for those who work on shared devices. It also aligns the user experience for sign-on across the university’s SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) services.
