As the Stanford community returns to campuses, University IT is taking steps to make your return a smooth one.
We’ve heard your concerns about devices being unable to connect to the Stanford network after 16 months away. To ease device repatriation, we will temporarily pause enforcement of Stanford’s device security standards for utilizing the campus network. If your device fell out of compliance any time between April 2020 and now, it will still be permitted to access the campus network.
You can check the status of your device(s) via mydevices.stanford.edu. The security standards enforcement will be re-enabled as soon as is practical. If you need assistance restoring your devices to a healthy state in MyDevices, contact your local IT team.
