Ask someone for the definition of a service, and you are bound to get a variety of different answers. The same goes for IT Service Management (ITSM).
The truth is, that like any other discipline, service management has its own jargon and more than a few ITSM frameworks for supporting IT Services. We’ve developed a short video to help you understand what an IT service is, how University IT defines some fundamental service management concepts, what ITSM framework we‘ve adopted, and how we organize the work according to the service lifecycle.
