Code42 CrashPlan Rebrands to CrashPlan
Code42 CrashPlan has been renamed and rebranded as CrashPlan. Users may have noticed changes to the branding and the backup emails they receive. CrashPlan will continue backing up computer data with no loss or unplanned changes to features. There is no action needed.
The new CrashPlan
Code42 has spun off CrashPlan as its own company. While the services CrashPlan offers aren’t changing, we expect cosmetic changes to come to the computer application and dashboards in the months ahead. Backup emails to users will now come from CrashPlan Enterprise instead of Code42 for Enterprise. For more information about the split from Code42, read this press release.
