On Sept. 1, 2024, rates for Cardinal Print, Stanford University's managed print service, will increase for both black and white and color printing. The new pricing is as follows:

Why are rates changing?
Cardinal Print rates have remained constant for the last five years. However, inflation associated with labor, paper, and toner, as well as operational costs, now require us to increase our rates to continue providing high-quality services.
We have listened to your feedback and have added new features, upgrades, technologies, and resources to improve Cardinal Print service. In addition, as a part of Stanford University's commitment to sustainability, we have adopted the use of eco-friendly inks and recycled paper to mitigate environmental impact.

Cardinal Print allows students, faculty, and staff to print from anywhere and collect documents on any Cardinal Print device, with security and sustainability in mind.

I’m a student. How will this change impact me?
Copies will be charged to your student account at the new rate. If your department has provided you with a printing allowance, you can continue to charge printing costs at the printer to your department.
