Service Rate Changes for FY24
Beginning Sept. 1, 2023, rates for several technology services provided by University (UIT) will increase between 2.5% and 5%. The new rates will be reflected in the rates section of the UIT website. Until then, we encourage you to check this page about fiscal year 2024 (FY24) changes to ensure that you have accurate service-level information.
Why are rates changing?
In keeping with the university’s salary program, FY24 rate changes will fall within a similar range. As well, many other factors influence rate adjustments, including:
- Advances in technology
- Demand for and use of our services
- Licensing and software subscription fees
- Operational service quality improvements
- Continued inflationary pressures impacting service delivery costs
