Registration is now open for the Cybersecurity & Privacy Festival 2023

Mark your calendars for the fifth annual Cybersecurity & Privacy Festival on Oct. 26 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Frances C. Arrillaga Alumni Center.

All members of the Stanford community — including faculty, staff, and students associated with the university, health care systems, and SLAC — along with colleagues in the broader higher education landscape are invited. This year’s event will be an in-person only experience, but recorded sessions will be available for viewing after the event. Register today to secure your spot!

CyberFest brings together prominent experts from industry, academia, and government to lead thought-provoking discussions on the latest trends and challenges in cybersecurity. Top sponsors Google, Crowdstrike, and Wiz, in addition to Stanford sponsors, are helping to make CyberFest 2023 possible. This year, our eye is on AI.

AI thinks, therefore AI am

There’s no denying it. Artificial intelligence (AI) technology has arrived and is rapidly changing how we interact with the world, bringing with it both benefits and challenges.

In the realm of cybersecurity and privacy, AI is emerging as a powerful tool. Yes, we can harness the power of AI to enhance our capabilities to provide groundbreaking security solutions. To counter that, AI in the wrong hands has the potential to enable unprecedented cyberthreats. At CyberFest, we’ll delve into some of these “heroic” and “villainous” complexities.

You can also count on insightful and inspiring discussions about generative AI tools, frameworks, machine learning, responsible AI, and more.

Don’t wait — register today!
