Qualtrics Maintenance: Scheduled Outage Starting May 17

Qualtrics accounts using the Stanford University brand (stanforduniversity) are down from May 17 until noon on May 22 due to a planned migration. This process is to transition Stanford Qualtrics data to a new data center and ensure our data remains safe and secure. 

Note: Certain workgroups and units fall under different branding accounts and will not be impacted by this maintenance. Admins of the affected workgroups were contacted directly via email about the maintenance.

During this downtime, users cannot access Qualtrics. 

What to expect

Here’s what to expect during the outage:

  • Users are not able to create new surveys
  • Existing surveys cannot be modified
  • Scheduled surveys and email distributions will be delayed during the migration process

Please note: While many features are briefly unavailable, external users/consumers can still respond to surveys already distributed. All survey responses are still being collected. Access to Qualtrics will be restored this Friday, May 22, by noon.
