Planned Maintenance Outage for Oracle Financials Starting May 18

University IT (UIT) will perform planned maintenance on Oracle Financials applications and database starting May 18, 2024, at 6 p.m. (PT) to May 19, 2024, at 8 a.m. (PT). During this time, Oracle Financials (ofweb.stanford.edu) will be unavailable. 

Outage details

To ensure system stability, UIT will conduct a database hardware upgrade to Oracle Financials applications and database, which will impact the following services:

• Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) nightly builds
• Project-Task-Award (PTA) validation
• FICO integrations 
• Reporting functionality

Summary of downtime 

• Oracle Financials (ofweb.stanford.edu) will be down starting Saturday, May 18 at 6 p.m. (PT).
• Maintenance is expected to be complete by Sunday, May 19 at 8 a.m. (PT). Oracle Financials applications and database will then be back online.
