Planned Maintenance for AFS Services on Aug. 11, 2024
To enhance system performance and security, University IT (UIT) will replace the OpenAFS (Andrew File System) servers with Auristor servers between 6 and 7 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 11, 2024.
During this time, access and authentication will be slow or unavailable for AFS services, including:
- Volumes
- web.stanford.edu
- Shared compute environments and systems running AFS
