Effortless Setup for Your New Stanford Android
We’re simplifying the setup process for your new Stanford-owned Android device.
Beginning Jan. 27, 2026, Android phones purchased through Stanford will automatically enroll in the Intune device management system.
What this means for you:
- Simply unbox your device, power it on, and connect to Wi-Fi.
- With just a few taps, your phone will automatically install the required Stanford apps and apply security settings to protect your privacy and the university’s data right from the start.
- A dedicated “work profile” will be created for you, keeping your Stanford apps and data neatly separated from your personal ones.
