How can I save on my personal mobile device plan, and put cash back in my pocket?

Tuesday, November 1, 2016

It’s easy. Just by being part of Stanford, you’re eligible for discounts of up to 18 percent on monthly service charges for your personal mobile device plans.

University IT (UIT) negotiated discounted rates for your personal use on three of the largest mobile device carriers: AT&T, Sprint and Verizon. All you have to do is contact one of these carriers, and start saving today. Now, if only all savings were that simple.

Discount Details

Each carrier offers slightly different discounts, but generally discounts apply only to the monthly service charge of the primary line for qualified plans, and not to any other charges.

Discounts are available to university and hospital employees.  All you need is a Stanford-affiliated email that ends in @stanford.edu, @stanfordhealthcare.org, or @stanfordchildrens.org.
