A Fresh New SUPAD

Thursday, January 1, 2015

With the wealth of administrative information available online, it can be hard to navigate the Stanford websphere to find just the tools and resources you need. That’s why University IT rolled out a new, state-of-the-art version of the Stanford University Personal Administrative Desktop (SUPAD) last month for university staff and administrators.

Originally created some 15 years back, SUPAD provides a customizable online gateway to important administrative websites and applications. The redesign provides a fresh, modern look that is mobile responsive, and a simpler, more straightforward interface. University staff can use SUPAD to easily bookmark important administrative and personal websites for later reference from any browser.

As part of the redesign, SUPAD was migrated to LifeRay (the platform powering the current Axess portal), and the overall look and feel were updated to reflect current Stanford branding. University IT also updated the collection of Stanford administrative links available within SUPAD.
