New Toll-Free Number Available for Zoom

Zoom participants located in the United States, the Caribbean, or Canada can now use a toll-free telephone number when joining a Zoom meeting by telephone for Stanford business purposes. Until now, Zoom invitations only listed toll telephone numbers for domestic calls.

The toll-free number, along with a new toll number, is now listed automatically in the invitation that Zoom generates when you schedule a meeting. Zoom users are encouraged to use these new numbers.

We recommend rescheduling recurring meetings so that the new numbers automatically appear in the updated invitation. Otherwise, the telephone numbers that were listed in the original Zoom meeting invitation will remain active.
