Designed to function as an e-version of a paper notebook, Microsoft OneNote is a note-taking and personal information management application for collecting, organizing and sharing digital information.

As easy as OneNote can be to use, getting up and running and collaborating with others in OneNote has a few hurdles.

Between the different versions of OneNote, browser plugins, and the options of where to save OneNote notebooks users can struggle to get up and running quickly and easily. Once up and running OneNote has numerous features that can take the idea of a simple paper notebook to the next level. Between, video, audio, web articles, and simple handwriting recognition this is a powerful tool. We will cover it all!

Topics in this session include:

  • Setting up and working with notebooks
  • Sections, Pages, and Subpages
  • Staying organized with tags
  • Leveraging the power of search
  • Task and Messages to Outlook
  • Embedding Files
  • Sharing and Collaborating
  • Using the Webclipper
  • Working with audio and video
  • Troubleshooting
