AirWatch Upgrade on Aug. 3, 2016

Dear MDM user,
 
Because you currently have one or more mobile devices enrolled in Stanford's AirWatch Mobile Device Management (MDM), we want to let you know about an upcoming service upgrade.
 
When?
Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2016 between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. PDT
 
What can you expect during the upgrade? 
Your mobile device should continue to operate normally during the upgrade; however, the following functions may not be available:
  • The Stanford app catalog
  • The self-service portal
  • The Stanford MDM website will not be fully functional
What can you expect after the upgrade?
Your mobile device should continue to operate as it did beforehand. In rare cases, you may experience the following:
  • Upon opening your email inbox, you may be prompted for a password and redirected to the Stanford WebLogin screen to re-authenticate. 
  • Emails may take several minutes to load in your inbox but will load automatically. We advise that you allow this to happen over a Wi-Fi connection due to the potential bandwidth use.
  • If AirWatch agent automatically opens and prompts you for an email address, you'll need to re-enroll your device in MDM. Follow these instructions to re-enroll:
