Thank you for joining us in this exploration of video conferencing and IM/presence applications for Stanford University. You play a critical role in the selection process for a strong, reliable, usable remote platform for the university. This webpage provides some basic guidelines for your five-week testing experience.
Your responsibilities
You will test two separate video conferencing and IM/presence tools, and will receive login and account information for these tools. Team leads will use each tool with their teams for approximately two weeks per tool.
All team members will complete a post-experience survey, and team leads will also be responsible for keeping an experience diary. Please use the diary frequently, preferably daily, to record your use of and observations about the tool.
Features to test
Here are the features that you need to test in order for us to make the most informed decision; please complete as many of these tasks as possible. The end-of-session surveys will ask for your feedback about this set of functionality as well as general information about your experience with the tools.
