Emergency Notification System

Deliver emergency notifications through audio and text

Stanford has partnered with Singlewire to provide an emergency notification system. The system, known as InformaCast, is a mass notification system that sends audio and text messages to on-premises Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) phones and other internet connected devices. InformaCast increases the speed, reach, and success rate of emergency notification communications to get critical information to the people who need it.

Features

The InformaCast emergency notification system assists with safety and security issues. It can be configured for uses that include:

  • Push button alerting
  • Building lockdown
  • Building evacuation
  • Paging and intercom

You can:

  • Send messages from
    • Desk phones
    • The web console
  • Send messages to
    • VoIP desk phones
    • Internet connected devices such as speakers and clocks
  • Send messages as
    • Live audio
    • Ad hoc audio
    • Prerecorded audio
    • Text to VoIP phones
