Ongoing Operational Support

  • Maintenance and configuration of research workstations (Linux, Windows, or macOS) used for analysis or attached to scientific instruments.
  • Hardware troubleshooting and facilitation of repairs of lab workstations.
  • Consultation and remediation for maintaining device compliance on the Stanford network.
  • Installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of specialized research software.
  • User account administration and support.
  • Creation and maintenance of operational support documentation as it relates to your research systems and data workflow. This could also include user self-help content.

Consultancy Support

  • Troubleshoot specialized software or devices unique to your lab.
  • Consultation and remediation for device compliance issues.
  • Plan and perform OS upgrades on research endpoints.
  • Data consolidation or migration tasks.
  • Third-party product evaluations.
  • Data management guidance and facilitation of usage of Stanford Library Data Management Services, such as:
