Screen reader basics: This session will give attendees an overview of available screen readers and how people use them. They will come away with an awareness of how someone who is blind is able to use a computer and perform many of the same job functions as anyone else as long as the software and websites they use are made with accessibility in mind.

- Overview of screen readers available for various platforms
- Demo of how a screen reader works for web navigation
- Discussion of the importance of accessibility best practices to enable screen reader use
