As part of the IDEAL IT Neurodiversity at Stanford pilot, University IT is hosting a private screening of Intelligent Lives to raise awareness and understanding about neurodiversity.
About Intelligent Lives
Intelligent Lives is a documentary by award-winning filmmaker Dan Habib. It features three pioneering young American adults with intellectual disabilities — Micah, Naieer, and Naomi — who challenge perceptions of intelligence as they navigate high school, college, and the workforce. Academy award winning actor and narrator Chris Cooper contextualizes the lives of these central characters through the emotional story of his own son, Jesse.
The event will kick off with a keynote address by Ranga Jayaraman, director of Neurodiversity Pathways and one of our key partners in University IT’s Neurodiversity at Stanford pilot. Following the 70-minute documentary, there will be time for Q&A and discussion.
