HelpSU is Changing. Get a Sneak Peek

HelpSU is evolving!

Do you click the Have a SUNet ID? button when you go to helpsu.stanford.edu to submit a help request? Starting December 5, you’ll find that the button takes you to the new Services Portal.

The Services Portal is the first step in the evolution of the HelpSU service that will eventually provide a single location for support about all types of services provided at Stanford. With this release, you'll start entering your IT-related help requests in the Services Portal without the complexity of finding the right HelpSU Request Category and Type. Even better, the Portal's predictive search feature gives immediate access to knowledge articles that may help you solve your issue even more quickly. You'll also be able to browse services provided by University IT, Stanford's central IT organization, and make requests for those services.

For now, support for non-IT services will continue to go through the HelpSU forms, but this December release is only the beginning for the Services Portal. Over the coming year, more services will make their way into the portal and the inventory of knowledge articles will continue to grow. In time, the Portal will truly be your home for help, support, and solutions across campus.
