Stanford Email Delays

11:00 AM Update

Email appears to be flowing normally, without delay.  UIT will continue to monitor the email queue and is working with its vendor to identify the root cause and prevent it from reoccurring.

10:00 AM Update

Stanford is currently experiencing a delay in email delivery.

All outbound emails sent from an @stanford.edu address to any destination are being delayed between 30 minutes to over an hour. UIT is working with its email vendors to identify and correct the cause, but we currently do not have an estimate for restoring service to normal.

Inbound emails sent to @stanford.edu addresses from outside the university do not seem to be affected.
