Property Receiving, Inventory, and Labeling

All property that is received must follow the procedures as outlined in Appendix B.

Inventory information for non-University IT owned/managed equipment information is limited to server name and/or purchase requisition number, serial number, property tag, and rack location. This is not meant to replace any local departmental inventory processes or requirements.

All client-owned capital equipment arriving for installation in the ADC must be identified by a Stanford University property sticker. Contact your local Departmental Property Administrator for assistance through the Office of Research Administration. University IT will tag and inventory all non-capital equipment that is hosted in the ADC.
