Tips for Professional Close-Up and Product Photography

In advance of each session, Tech Training will provide you with a Zoom link to your class, along with any required class materials.

 


 

 
In this class we will discuss the skills and basic knowledge that are required to achieve Macro and Product photography. We will cover photography basics like composition, lighting, exposure, manual focus, and depth of field.
 
This class will also explore the best techniques, including going over some of the best industry-standard practices, for utilizing hardware and software (camera/apps) to capture your Macro and Product Photography.
 
Prerequisites: Understand basic camera settings. Class can also be taken with a smartphone.
 
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of this class, you will have a better understanding of camera settings, composition, and be able to photograph objects in a professional manner.
 
Topics include:
  • Quick overview of F-Stop, Shutter Speed, and ISO settings
  • Photography basics like composition, lighting, exposure, manual focus, and depth of field
  • Best techniques for utilizing hardware and software (phone camera apps)
