Stanford students, faculty, and staff
BigFix is Stanford's centralized operating system patch management service. This service enables technical support staff to deploy critical security patches to computers across campus. To participate in the BigFix service, you must install the small client program. It is available free of charge to people who have a full-service SUNet ID.
Summer conference attendees and other guests
The BigFix service is not available to summer conference attendees and other guests, however it is not required to register on all networks. Please go back to the Stanford Network Registration Tool and run the tests again.
