Jabber for Windows Quick Start Guide

Internet connection

[Stanford University affiliates] Any wired or wireless network connections will be sufficient.

[SHC and SCH affiliates] We recommend that users connect to Jabber via a wired network. If the user chooses to connect via Wi-Fi, please select SHCMed-WLAN (for Stanford Health Care) or LPCH_WLANg-v1 (for Stanford Children's Health). If the user connects to any other network, they will only see their contacts’ SIDs instead of their contacts' names.
