The EUX Accelerator is a tool that automates the Windows 7 to Windows 10 upgrade for Stanford-owned computers, reducing up to 30 minutes of hands-on time per computer for technicians.
Programmed to act as a keyboard and mouse, the Accelerator performs the types of repetitive tasks that technicians could “do with their eyes closed.”
Upgrading the Windows operating system typically takes one to three hours to complete and requires a person to be present to click through the prompts. The Accelerator is programmed to automatically complete the prompts, allowing you to spend less than one minute on each device and to upgrade multiple operating systems simultaneously.
