Consolidate and Focus End-User Experience and Services

The new organization will consolidate and focus end-user experience and services to provide the highest quality user-facing services and their associated enabling functions, and better meet the market demand of our user community.

This includes the following:

  • Central service desk and health care account management providing 365x7x24 support for all UIT provided services
  • Central call center providing operator services for the university and healthcare communities 365x7x24
  • Consulting services that include web UX, design, and development; client specific system engineering and cloud solutions; and, other specialized user-driven services
  • Technology training customized to user community demand
  • End-point technology deployment and management
  • End-user onsite and remote support for desktop and mobile devices
  • Collaboration and productivity tools
  • Centralized system and service health monitoring
  • End-user physical identification, security and access, business conducted with Campus ID
  • Partner with Stanford Healthcare leadership on coordinated IT strategy and business direction that enable their success
