PeopleSoft Split to Cause Application Outages

Wednesday, July 1, 2015

As previously announced, University IT will be splitting Stanford’s PeopleSoft instance into two separate systems later this month to accommodate future infrastructure and tools changes.

Because of the complexity of this effort, the following applications and/or services will be unavailable from 5 p.m. on Friday, July 24 until 8 a.m. on Tuesday, July 28:

  • Axess
  • StanfordYou
  • STARS reporting
  • Secure Portal
  • My Devices
  • Authority Manager
  • Sponsorship Manager
  • Workgroup Manager
  • Faculty and Academic Staff Appointment (FASA)
  • Student & HR reporting in OBIEE
  • Nolij
  • Faculty Affairs and Academic Secretary (FAAS)
  • Stanford University Personal Administrative Desktop (SUPAD)
  • Organization Manager
  • Registry Events (EventViewer)
  • RegAdmin
  • RegAdmin Request
  • Certificate Manager

The Stanford Accounts application will be available with limited functionality during this planned outage. Password management and two-step authentication will be available, but users will not be able to create and/or sponsor SUNet IDs.

If you have any questions related to the PeopleSoft Split project, please submit a Help request.
