Presenter: Kevin Murphy
Automated tools such as Siteimprove can only catch about 30% of accessibility errors. In this session we will demonstrate the steps that accessibility testers take to examine a website to determine if a site is truly accessible or not. Participants in this session do not need to have technical expertise in building websites.
Here’s what we’ll cover in this training:
- What steps does a manual tester take to determine a site's accessibility
- How to document issues that the tester finds
- What tools do testers use in addition to site scanning tools
