The Stanford Training and Registration System (STARS) is a distinct module in the PeopleSoft system that delivers and tracks professional development, personal development, and compliance training for learners, managers, instructors, and administrators.

Faculty, staff, students, and affiliates with an active SUNet ID.

Requirements

Anyone with a SUNet ID may access STARS as a Learner via the Axess Portal.

Accessibility:

STARS courses are required to be accessible and comply with Stanford’s 6.8.1 Accessibility of Electronic Content Policy. Check out Developing Accessible STARS Courses for more information about how to develop an accessible Storyline or Rise course. There are accessibility checklists and modules available to help you develop an accessible course that can be accessed by a wide range of learners.

Data security

May be used to store Low, Moderate, and High Risk Data, as defined by the Information Security Office.
