Follow these instructions to access a recovery key for a macOS device in Jamf.

Navigate to https://stanford.jamfcloud.com.

In the sidebar select Computers followed by Search Inventory.

In the search toolbar enter the SUNet ID of the user, or Serial Number, or MAC Address of the device, followed by Enter/Return on your keyboard.

If the search was successful you should see a link to a device or devices, click on the device you want a recovery key for.

On the inventory screen select the Disk Encryption pane ( See #1 in the Screenshot below).

If the device has a valid recovery key the Personal Recovery Key Validation will show as Valid.

Select Show Key to view the Personal Recovery Key ( See #2 in the Screenshot above).

If the show key is unavailable it's possible you do not have the permissions to view recovery keys.

Note: If the computer is encrypted but the option to Show a key is unavailable, you can run the [SU] FileVault - Encrypt or Regenerate Recovery Keys offer in the Self-Service for them. This is available to technicians after logging into Self-Service on the computer.
